The Return of the Hedgehog.

Yesterday afternoon my wife was minding her own business sitting in a seat in the garden. Hearing a noise she looked under her chair to discover a visitor.

We followed him around the garden and he had difficulty getting up these steps. Don't worry he / she made it eventually. I think this is the same individual we have seen in the garden before. There is a grey patch on the bristles. I have no idea if there is something wrong with it to be out and about in daylight but there are no obvious signs of illness and it looks a good weight.

Diary
50+ moths in th entrap this morning. The majority appear to be orange underwings but I also had a small magpie and a riband wave as well as the usual stuff. Trail cams showed foxes. Young foxes with a parent. The foxes appear to hunt most nights around the rabbit warren on the old railway line.
